Vijay Patha has a diverse and extensive work experience. Vijay started their career as a Community Organizer at Mind the Product, where they successfully grew a product people community. Vijay then founded and developed an app called MY MOOD WALL, which allowed users to watch YouTube videos based on their mood.

Vijay later worked as a Software Developer at Ello, where they engineered and handcrafted a Trello clone user interface. Vijay also served as a Consultant at Nestlé Waters North America and as a Founder at Internet Cafe Bus, a non-profit organization bringing digital literacy to underprivileged adolescents in India.

Their experience at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints involved working as a Technical Product Manager. At Brigham Young University, Vijay pursued an MBA and during this time, they served as an MBA Candidate.

Vijay then transitioned to Amazon, where they held several roles as a Senior Product Manager. Vijay worked on various machine learning projects, including launching a Natural Language Understanding model and driving initiatives in profitability and monetization strategy.

Currently, Vijay is a Principal Product Manager at Prosper Marketplace, leading the development of their Machine Learning platform. Vijay ensures cross-functional collaboration, oversees the lifecycle of machine learning models, and drives alignment with company objectives.

Vijay Patha completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing and Strategy from Brigham Young University (2016-2018). Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Public Administration from Brigham Young University-Hawaii (2008-2011). Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications in various areas such as AWS Machine Learning, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, Google Analytics, and Mobile Sites.
