Yuxin Qiu

Yuxin Qiu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as a Project Auditor Intern at PwC in 2011, where they assisted in analyzing and auditing accounting data. In 2012, they worked as an Investigator intern at Euromonitor International, investigating sales information and manipulating large datasets to recommend marketing decisions. In 2013, they served as a Risk Management Intern at Guolian Securities, building predictive models for analyzing company risk profiles.

Later in 2013, Yuxin became a Consultant at The Legal Aid Society of Columbus, where they loaded data into R, performed data quality checks, and built models for large phone record datasets. They also performed predictive modeling to improve business efficiency. That same year, Yuxin also worked as a Survey Research Specialist at The Ohio State University Government Resource Center, collecting and analyzing survey data using SAS and creating a searchable database.

In 2014, Yuxin joined JPMorgan Chase as a Risk Analyst, performing risk data aggregation and report consolidation. They utilized SAS, SQL, and Cognos to develop risk data requirements and perform ad-hoc risk analysis.

From 2015 to 2022, Yuxin worked at Bread Financial, starting as an Analyst in the Decision Analytics - Credit Risk Department and progressing to Senior Analyst and eventually Lead Data Scientist roles. They specialized in credit analytics, credit risk, and decision analytics, contributing to the development and implementation of data-driven solutions.

Most recently, Yuxin joined Prosper Marketplace in 2022 as a Lead Data Scientist, continuing their work in data science to drive insights and make data-informed decisions.

Yuxin Qiu earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Communication University of China in 2012 and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Statistics from The Ohio State University in 2014. In addition, they obtained certifications in various courses, including machine learning and SAS programming.
