Kate Merrill

Kate Merrill is an experienced project manager currently serving in the Business Advancement Team for the Metals & Machinery Cluster at Prosper Portland since August 2024. Previously, Kate held the position of Senior Community Relations and Communications Manager at The Standard, focusing on nonprofit partnerships and corporate giving. As the first Executive Director of the Central Eastside Industrial Council, Kate significantly increased business membership and revenue. Additional roles include Community Engagement Director and Marketing Director at Cargo Inc, freelance marketing and grant-writing consultancy, and various positions in arts administration and translation. Kate earned a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Washington and a Master's in Cultural Project Management from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
