Nick Swinney

Nick Swinney, CISSP, serves as the Director of the Cyber & Information Security Office (CISO) at Prospera Credit Union since April 2024. Prior to this role, Swinney was the Director of Cyber Security at Decision Point Cyber Security Advisors, focusing on business-aligned solutions to cyber security challenges. Previous positions include Principal Consultant at Insight Security, where cyber risk and maturity assessments were a focus, and Global Head of Windows Security at HSBC Holdings PLC, managing information security risks across a vast number of devices globally. Swinney also served as Chief Information Security Officer at HSBC Bank Canada, where a successful team of information security professionals was established, and held the role of Manager IT Security North America at John Lewis Partnership. Swinney's educational background includes studies at the University of Hertfordshire.
