George Ruan

George Ruan is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in technology and e-commerce. As a Co-Founder and Managing Member at Protagonist since August 2022, Ruan previously served as VP at PayPal for Honey from January 2020 to March 2022, following a successful tenure as Co-Founder and CEO at Honey from October 2012 to January 2020. Ruan also held leadership positions as CEO of Open Presence and Co-Founder of Medical Science Int. and ABDOTC Publishing, in addition to founding Animebooks.com. Ruan earned a degree from UC Irvine between 1998 and 2002.
