Woo Hyung L. currently serves as Sr. Director at proteanTecs, leading the US and Korea application/solution engineer team for post-sales customer support, focusing on RTL integration, Design Verification, Synthesis, PnR, and STA timing signoff. Prior experience includes roles at Intel Corporation as Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, and Senior Principal Engineer, where contributions involved CPU core design for server and client processors. Woo also held engineering positions at Apple and Oracle, specializing in RLM design and high-end server design, respectively, and worked on custom/synthesis design methodologies at Intel’s Microprocessor Research Lab. Earlier experiences include positions at Advanced Micro Devices and Samsung Electronics, along with research assistant roles at the University of Michigan, where a Ph.D. in EECS (VLSI) was obtained.
