Chris Morris

Chris Morris has extensive work experience in infrastructure and enterprise architecture roles. Chris began their career at Unisys in 1997, where they held various positions and was responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco SAN fabric, HP arrays, EMC storage systems, virtualization technologies, and backup solutions, among other tasks.

In 2006, Chris joined OneAmerica as an Infrastructure Architect, where they contributed to the company's IT infrastructure. Chris remained in this role until 2011.

From 2011 to 2020, Chris worked at Protective Insurance, initially as an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect and later as an IT Director & Enterprise Infrastructure Architect. Chris led initiatives such as a complete multi-cloud migration, the delivery of multiple insurance cloud platforms, and the management of compute, network, cloud, database, service desk, security operations, and mainframe teams.

In February 2021, Chris assumed their current position as the VP and Head of Infrastructure at Protective Insurance, where they oversee various teams, manages the budget for infrastructure and operations, and establishes relationships with vendors and service providers to support infrastructure and operations initiatives.
