Mike Petrassi has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on medicinal and organic chemistry. Mike is currently the Vice President of Chemistry at Protego Biopharma, a position they have held since November 2021. Previously, from March to August 2021, they served as the Site Head for San Diego and Chemistry VP at Treeline Biosciences. Their career in the industry started at Locus Pharmacueticals, where they worked as a Scientist from February 2002 to June 2003. Mike Petrassi earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1996. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Scripps Research, completing their doctoral studies from 1997 to 2001. In 1996, they also briefly attended Texas A&M University to study Chemistry, but it doesn't specify if they obtained a degree from there.
