Sanjay Sanghani

Sanjay Sanghani has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and biotech. Sanjay started their career as the Country Manager for India at Elsevier MDL in 2006, followed by a role as Managing Director at Caddalyst Software Technologies from 2007 to 2011. Sanjay then worked as the Country Manager for India at Symyx Technologies, Inc. from 2007 to 2011.

Sanjay later joined Accelrys, where they served as the Country Manager for India from 2010 to 2011. Sanjay then became a Senior Account Manager at IDBS from 2011 to 2014.

In 2014, Sanjay took on the role of Business Development Director at Technoledge SA, where they focused on information systems solutions. Sanjay worked there until 2016.

Sanjay then joined Sophia Genetics as the Business Development Manager for Pharma Markets in 2016. Sanjay was responsible for leveraging their clinical genomics solution and expanding their platform with pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO customers.

From 2017 to 2018, Sanjay worked as the New Business Development Manager at Multiwave Technologies AG, where they developed and commercialized cutting-edge technologies using metamaterials.

In 2018, they joined Project Holon as a Data Strategy Consultant, where they worked on applying semantic product data management concepts to complex manufacturing.

Most recently, Sanjay has been a part of Protein Metrics Inc., starting in 2019. Sanjay initially served as the Manager of European Biotech Sales until 2021, when they transitioned to the role of Global Marketing Manager.

Sanjay Sanghani started their education in 1986 at Repton School, where they studied for two years. Sanjay then continued their education and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree in Chemistry at the University of Oxford from 1988 to 1992. Following that, they furthered their academic journey at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a PhD in Molecular Biophysics.
