Anjala Bulathge

Anjala Bulathge began their work experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Peradeniya in 2015. During this time, they synthesized target-specific anticancer drugs and studied the electrochemical properties of nickel(ii) organometallic complexes for photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide.

In 2016, Bulathge joined The University of Texas at Dallas as a Graduate Research Assistant. Anjala was responsible for designing and completing multi-step purifications of human MTF-1 Zinc Finger protein, as well as expressing and purifying human MT-2 protein using standard protein synthesis techniques. Additionally, they conducted protein characterization using analytical and bio-analytical techniques.
