Maria P Rios is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology, digital transformation, and innovation. Currently serving as a Board of Directors member at Protela Textiles and as the Innovation and Digital Transformation Vice President at Alianza Team™, Maria leads initiatives to enhance the innovation ecosystem, manage IT operations, and oversee corporate strategy. As a professor at Universidad de los Andes, Maria teaches Big Data and advanced analytics in the Applied Economics Master's program. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where Maria drove significant projects across various industries. Maria holds a PhD and MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with a Master's in Statistics and dual Bachelor's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics from Universidad de Los Andes.
