Dr Med Mariola Söhngen

Dr. med Mariola Söhngen has had an extensive work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Dr med Mariola started their career as a project manager and later held various positions at Gruenenthal, Aachen and Ferrer/Trommsdorff. Dr med Mariola then joined PAION AG as the Chief Medical Officer, where they also served as the managing director of a German GmbH and a UK Ltd. In 2015, they became the CEO of Mologen AG and later joined Convert Pharmaceuticals as the CEO in 2018. In 2019, they assumed the role of Designated Co-CEO of Humanwell Pharmaceuticals Europe B.V., and in 2020 they founded their own consultancy company, Söhngen Consultancy. Additionally, in September 2020, they took on the role of CEO at Proteome Sciences plc.

Dr. med Mariola Söhngen attended RWTH Aachen University from 1981 to 1987, where they pursued their M.D., Ph.D. degrees in the field of Medicine.
