Cameron Duncan

Director, Environmental Health & Safety at Proterra

Cameron Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Cameron started their career as an Independent Contractor with Southwestern Company in 2008. Cameron then worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Westinghouse Electric Company in 2009. In 2010, Cameron served as a Site Leader at ReCreation Experiences, leading repair projects for homes. In 2011, they were a Civil/Process Engineering Intern at Ford Bacon & Davis. From 2012 to 2013, Cameron was a Customer Technical Representative contracted with AK Steel at The Phoenix Group. Cameron then became a Materials Engineer at Gestamp from 2013 to 2015, responsible for supplier-related quality issues. Cameron joined GE Power in 2015 as an MSD Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, managing the quality of Material Shipped Direct suppliers. In 2018, Cameron started their own business, Swamp Rabbit Real Estate, LLC, focused on buying and reselling properties. Cameron also served as a Customer Program Manager at Proterra Inc from 2018 to 2020. Cameron then took on the role of Manager, Customer Success Operations at Proterra from 2020 to 2022. Following that, they became the Chief of Staff for Proterra Transit in 2022 and later Chief of Staff for Proterra Operations in 2023.

Cameron Duncan pursued their education at Clemson University. From 2007 to 2011, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a minor in Music. Later, from 2014 to 2017, Cameron earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Corporate studies.
