Jason Hom

Jason Hom is an experienced engineering manager and automation specialist with a strong background in battery manufacturing and high voltage power systems. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Proterra Inc since January 2017, Jason successfully designed, validated, and launched two $25 million battery manufacturing lines and built an Equipment Automation Design team, expanding it from 3 to 20 members. Previous roles included Lead Senior Automation Engineer and Sr Project Engineer, where Jason led technical developments in electrifying the heavy-duty market and automated systems for electric vehicle battery production. Jason holds both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
