Mps Nora Kamal

Nora Kamal, MPS, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Nora is currently working at Proterra Inc as the Director of HR Shared Services, Benefits, and Compliance. In this role, they oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to organizational development, performance management, workforce planning, learning and development, and succession planning. Nora also leads the University Relations Program and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives at the organization.

Prior to their current role, Nora worked at Tindall Corporation where they served as the Human Resources Manager. Their responsibilities included managing the HRIS system, partnering with senior leadership to improve HRM programs and practices, and executing local HRM initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Nora also played a key role in implementing a new HRIS system and provided support and assistance to end-users.

Before joining Tindall Corporation, Nora worked at Greenville Health System. Nora held positions such as Administrative Assistant II and Wellness Associate. In these roles, they collaborated with multiple departments, managed data tracking systems, acted as an IT liaison, and trained staff on database management and user portals. Nora also handled marketing and promotional materials for wellness programs.

Nora's work experience demonstrates their expertise in HR management, organizational development, HRIS systems, and employee wellness programs.

Nora Kamal, MPS, PHR has a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations, which they obtained from Penn State University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, General at the University of South Florida from 2006 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Nora Kamal is a Certified Extended DISC Facilitator, which they obtained from Extended DISC® in January 2022. Furthermore, they hold the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), which they obtained in July 2019.

Additionally, Nora Kamal also received a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University in 2021.
