Fabian Klarner

Fabian Klarner is a seasoned professional in accelerator physics and organizational development, currently serving as the Managing Director and Vice President of Engineering at Prothea Technologies since August 2024. Prior to this role, Fabian led a team in laser, optics, and electronics at eleQtron GmbH, where efforts focused on improving organizational structures and transitioning the company from a scientific startup to a commercial entity. At Varian Medical Systems, from December 2011 to March 2023, Fabian held positions as Team Lead and Technical Lead for Accelerator Physics, overseeing the development of cyclotron systems and serving as a technical advisor across multiple departments. Additionally, Fabian co-founded Klarner & Schüren GbR, providing IT solutions for small businesses. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Accelerator Physics and a Diplom in Physics, both from the University of Bonn.
