Dermot Curtin

Dermot Curtin has extensive work experience in the field of regulatory affairs. Dermot is currently working as the Director and Head of EU Regulatory Affairs at Prothena Corporation plc, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, Dermot worked at Regeneron as a Senior Manager in Regulatory Affairs, starting in September 2016. Before that, they were a Senior Regulatory Affairs Consultant at Real Regulatory Ltd from January 2014 to August 2016.

Dermot also has experience as a Regulatory Affairs Officer, first at Aspen Pharma Trading Limited from June 2012 to January 2014, where they were responsible for regulatory dossier compliance and maintaining the in-house Product Dossier Management system. Dermot then worked at Quintiles Ireland Limited as a Regulatory Affairs Officer from November 2006 to November 2011.

Earlier in their career, Dermot worked as a Proposal Developer at ICON Clinical Research from November 2004 to April 2006.

Dermot Curtin pursued their higher education at University College Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Pharmacology. Dermot studied at the institution from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they completed a Diploma in Stockbroking and Investment at Dublin Business School, although the specific timeframe for this qualification is unknown.
