Michael Bachner

Michael Bachner has a diverse work experience in corporate communications and public relations. Michael currently holds the position of Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Prothena Corporation plc. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Media Relations & Issues Management at Novo Nordisk Inc from 2021 to 2022. Michael also served as the Director of Diabetes Business Unit Communications at Novo Nordisk from 2013 to 2021. Before joining Novo Nordisk, they were the Manager of Global Product Communications at Merck & Co., Inc. from 2006 to 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as an Account Executive at Dorland Global Public Relations from 2004 to 2006 and as an International Public Affairs Intern at Wyeth in 2003.

Michael Bachner attended Penn State University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations.
