Research Engineer Entomology at Protifarm

Natasja Gianotten has worked in a variety of roles since 1991. Natasja began their career as a Researcher at Wageningen University in 1991. Natasja then moved to Universiteit Utrecht in 1992, where they held the role of AIO. In 1993, they were a Researcher at Hendrix UTD. From 1997 to 2007, they were a Researcher at Nutreco. During this same period, they were a Researcher and Consultant at Jagran B.V., where they researched and developed the mass rearing of insects in order to produce an alternative protein source for animal feed. Natasja was also a Web Editor at EZNC, where they produced a Dutch and English newsletter every two weeks and once a month, respectively. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been a Research Engineer Entomology at Protifarm, where they focus on R&D in the area of insect rearing, mainly the lesser mealworm.
