Walter Thompson

Walter Thompson is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Colorado State University since August 2021. Thompson has been working for Blue Origin through Protingent since January 2021. Previously, Thompson held the position of Mission Design & Integration Sr. Manager at United Launch Alliance (ULA) from December 2006 to December 2020, and prior to that, served as Trajectory and Performance Sr. Manager at Lockheed Martin from September 1994 to December 2006. Thompson holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University (1984-1990) and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Wichita State University (1979-1983).
