Andrzej Wojtas possesses extensive experience in the fields of materials testing and analysis, as well as technical and sales support in the manufacturing sector. Since 2009, Andrzej has held the position of Director at Proto Manufacturing Europe, where responsibilities include supporting European customers with X-ray Diffraction techniques and coordinating sales efforts. As the owner of METLAB since 2008, Andrzej oversees a testing laboratory specializing in comprehensive services related to metals and materials analysis. In addition, Andrzej has served as Chief Editor for MFN, a role maintained since 2005. Previous positions include Business Consultant at Meltech CRE and Head of European Operations at Stresstech Oy, with a background in applications engineering at American Stress Technologies Inc. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Tribology and Residual Stress Analysis from Wojskowy Instytut Techniki Pancernej i Samochodowej, a Master's Degree in Materials Sciences from Delft University of Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
