Franklin Stampley Walden has had a varied work experience. From 2007 to present, they have been involved with the Morehead-Cain Foundation, initially as a Morehead-Cain Scholar and later as a volunteer running coach with the Amputee Coalition of America. In 2010, they were a Research Assistant at the Corbin Jones Bioinformatics Lab. In 2011, they were Cofounder and Head of Technology at Support Local NC LLC. Since 2012, they have been employed at Protochips, where they have held various roles including New Product Development Manager, Principal Engineer, R/D Senior Project Engineer, R/D Project Engineer, and R/D Design Engineer. In these roles, they have managed a new product development team, overseen the development and introduction of AXON, AXON Studio, and AXON Dose, lead the software, hardware, electronics and semiconductor development for a family of integrated systems, and specialized in new product development and furthering existing systems.
Franklin Stampley Walden received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill between 2007 and 2011.
