Betty Gardner

Chief Executive Officer at ProTrain

Betty Gardner has been the Chief Executive Officer at ProTrain since January 1995. Prior to that, they were the Part Time Technology Instructor at Wake Technical Community College from January 1994 to December 1997. In that role, they were responsible for instruction and curriculum design in various application and programming languages, as well as marketing and business concepts. Betty also selected software and courses to be offered, and assisted with classroom hardware and software configuration. In that role, they created marketing campaigns, scheduled classes, interviewed and hired instructors, managed in classroom and online program offerings, and taught classes.

Prior to their work at Raleigh/Wake Board of Realtors, Betty was the Marketing Education and Sports Coach Student Instructor at Apex High School from January 1994 to December 1995. In that role, they were responsible for creating and teaching classes.

Betty began their professional career as a Computer Operations Operator at The News and Observer from January 1991 to December 1994.

Betty Gardner went to North Carolina State University for their AA in Computer Science, BS in Marketing, and they minored in Business and Coaching. Afterward, they got their Associate's Degree in Business Computer Programming from Sampson Community College.
