Philip Ball

Philip Ball has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical industry. Philip is currently the Vice President of Alliance Management and Business Development at Provention Bio, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Alliance Management and Business Development from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Provention Bio, Philip worked at Innopiphany as the Principal and Head of Policy Practice from 2020 to 2021. Philip also has extensive experience at Allergan, where they held multiple executive director positions. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Executive Director of U.S. Value Policy and Strategy. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Biologics Policy and Strategy from 2015 to 2017.

Philip's earlier work experience includes a role as the Director of Biologics Alliance Management and Government Affairs at Actavis plc (now Allergan) from 2012 to 2015. At Allergan Biologics Ltd., an affiliate of Allergan plc, they held various positions such as Technical Director, Program Manager, and Analytical and Purification Development Manager from 2005 to 2012.

Before joining Allergan Biologics Ltd., Philip worked as a Biopharmaceutical Development Consultant at Eden Biopharm from 2003 to 2005. Throughout their career, Philip has demonstrated expertise in alliance management, business development, policy strategy, and technical product development in the biopharmaceutical sector.

Philip Ball holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry from The University of Manchester. Philip also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool.
