Alexander Purves

Alexander Purves has worked in various roles throughout the COMSATCOM industry to include leadership positions within the DoD-focused vendors for 10 years as well as 15 years servicing the Government and commercial satellite service market throughout Europe, the CIS region, the Middle East, and Africa. Within his previous DoD / COMSATCOM positions, including VP of Solution Design at Airbus Defense and Space, Alexander managed all COMSATCOM solutions to the DoD and was responsible for the solution engineering department, contracting department, and managed all direct bids and proposals to the U.S. government. Within his previous 5-year commitment to ARTEL, Alexander was a member of a small team of engineers and Program Managers overseeing the design, deployment, and operations of $1.5 billion in delivered satellite services to the DoD.
