Krista Wells Pearce

VP, Planning & Corporate Support Services at Providence Care Corporation

Krista Wells Pearce is the Vice-President, Planning & Corporate Support Services for Providence Care and the Vice-President, Planning KHSC. A graduate of both Queen’s University and the MHSA program at Dalhousie University, she has spent the last 16 years in planning for the Kingston hospitals and has a wide variety of experience in all healthcare sectors including acute, sub-acute, and ambulatory care, specialized mental health & forensics, long-term care, and research facilities. Krista is a LEED Green Associate. She led the Build-Finance Redevelopment Project at KGH (completed in 2011), the Providence Care Hospital Redevelopment (completed in 2017), and is anticipating RFP development for the Design-Build-Finance Redevelopment Project at KHSC KGH site, to commence in 2019. Planning is also underway for the Providence Manor Redevelopment Project which is set to open in 2022. In her role at Providence Care, Krista also has responsibility for Nutrition & Logistics Services, Information Management & Technology, Quality & Risk Management as well as Facility Management Services which includes maintenance, environmental services, protection services, material management, and biomedical engineering.
