Carrie Smith is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in social work and health management. Currently serving as Resident Care Manager at Mount St. Joseph's Long Term Care and as the MAiD Response Lead and Ethics Services Engagement Leader at Providence Health Care since October 2018, Carrie has also held roles including Implementation Coordinator and Knowledge Exchange and Mobilization Coordinator for Foundry, where contributions included developing program guidelines and clinical training for mental health clinicians. Previous positions include Violence Prevention Specialist at Providence Health Care, where leadership was provided on the Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum and development of workplace safety initiatives, as well as Social Worker roles at Coast Mental Health and within a Neuropsychiatric Tertiary Care unit.
