Victor Leung

Medical Director, Infection Prevention And Control at Providence Health Care

Victor Leung has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Victor is currently working as a Medical Microbiologist (Locum) at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services since July 2021. Victor has also held various roles at Providence Health Care, including Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control, Physician Lead of Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Medical Microbiologist. Additionally, they worked as an Infection Prevention and Control Physician and served as the President of the PHC Medical Staff Association for a period of time. Previously, they worked as an Infectious Diseases Consultant at St. Paul's Hospital.

Victor Leung completed their education with a degree in Medicine from The University of British Columbia in 2008. Victor then pursued a Residency in Internal Medicine at the same university from 2005 to 2008. Following this, Victor attained a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology at McGill University from 2008 to 2011.
