Alan Pollack

Principal & Co-founder at PROVIDENCE MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC

Alan is a principal and co-founder of Providence Real Estate with primary responsibility for the capital markets structure and execution. Alan also works on acquisitions, participates in the preparation and review of budgets and financial projections, supervises outside consultants and portions of the asset management process, and coordinates information and its dissemination to various debt and equity investors. Alan also directs various members of the senior staff.

In his capacity as a principal or an advisor, Alan has been involved in real estate transactions involving debt and equity in excess of $2 billion dollars. These transactions include land acquisitions and development, multifamily, resort development, and mobile home parks for his own account and for entities such as VMS Realty, Credit Suisse-First Boston and others.

Alan’s background includes founding a law firm and being elected and serving as managing partner for four years at a 90 person Chicago law firm, advisor to and co-investor (including debt and equity) with various national and mid-west based real estate investors working on development/repositioning projects as well as existing income properties for product types including resort/hotel, retail, land and multi-family. He has a B.S. Degree in Accountancy with High Honors, University of Illinois, J.D. University of Miami School of Law, LL. M (Taxation) New York University School of Law. Alan is a member of the Florida and Illinois Bar, a Certified Public Accountant- Illinois and serves as a Board of Director on the National Multi Housing Council.
