Karen Poersch-Whitson

Karen Poersch-Whitson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in client services and business operations within the healthcare and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Executive Director of Client Services and Business Operations at the Provincial Health Services Authority since August 2013, Karen oversees IMIT operations and customer support for critical health applications and infrastructure. Prior to this, a notable tenure at TELUS spanned from 2000 to 2013, where Karen held various director-level roles, including responsibilities for sales, client care, loyalty, and quality management, significantly enhancing customer experience across multiple channels. An educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Internet Marketing from the University of British Columbia, as well as studies in business administration at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
