Suzan Flokstra-Beute

Suzan Flokstra-Beute currently serves as a Senior Policy Advisor and Heritage Connector at Provincie Overijssel since April 2020. Previously, Suzan held the position of Council Advisor and Deputy Clerk at Gemeente De Wolden from September 2011 to March 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing digital processes for council documents, daily council communication, and organizing community engagements. Suzan’s earlier roles involved project leadership on cultural heritage initiatives and research at the Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed, along with contributions to various scholarly and community organizations. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in History from the University of Groningen and specialized training in governance and heritage management.
