Ubi Nunes has over 35 years of work experience. In 1985, they worked as a Software Developer for Metalgrafica Cearence SA, where they were responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and documentation of an accounting information system. In 1989, they became a Software Developer for World End Couriers Limited, where they were responsible for the analysis, design, testing, implementation, and documentation of bike control, marketing information, finance information, accounting information, and personnel information systems. In 1996, they became a Senior Software Developer for Sharman Consulting, where they were responsible for the analysis, design, testing, implementation, and documentation of software applications and databases. In 1997, they became a Senior Software Developer for Comtex Group Limited, where they were responsible for the maintenance of the "Closet System" and the migration of the "Closet" database to Sybase SQL Server system 11. In 2011, they became a Technical Team Leader for Fronde Systems Group Ltd, where they were responsible for the migration of SMARTS (CRM legacy system) to SalesForce (CRM Cloud Solution). In 2014, they became a Senior Database Developer for Xero Limited, where they were the lead DBA developer on the migration of several 3 legacy systems to SalesForce and CornerStone (CRM - LMS Cloud SaaS Solutions). In 2019, they became a Full Stack Developer for the Ministry of Primary Industries, where they were responsible for developing a new Bisocescurity Organisms & Pests Regulatory Register web application. Currently, they are a Software Engineering Team Lead for Provoke Solutions, where they are using ASP/C# .Net MVC core, MS SQL server database, and IIS web server on a Microsoft Azure PaaS environment.

Ubi Nunes obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Universidade Estadual do Ceará between 1984 and 1987.
