VP Of Infrastructure And Media at Proximie

Auri Vizgaitis has a strong background in the technology and telecommunications industry. Auri began their career in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer at Howe Digital, Inc, where they quickly progressed to the position of Senior Engineer. At Howe Digital, Inc, they worked on various VoIP projects for clients such as e-tel, Columbia University, PingTel, and AudioCodes, among others.

In 2001, Auri joined Tangerine, Inc as a Principal Software Engineer, responsible for implementing VoIP protocols for the Tangerine Connect softswitch. During their time at Tangerine, Inc, they integrated different open source SIP stacks into the softswitch.

In 2004, Auri founded Auritek, LLC, a small company focused on developing low-cost commercial softswitches for small service providers. Auri led the company's day-to-day operations, including engineering, sales, and marketing efforts. Eventually, the company was successfully sold to vCentrix, Inc.

At vCentrix, Inc, Auri held the position of VP VoIP Development from 2006 to 2009. In this role, they led a team of developers in implementing and maintaining vCentrix's VoIP softswitch and ecommerce applications. Auri was responsible for architecting and designing applications to support various business processes.

From 2009 to 2017, Auri served as the VP of IT and Software Development at Momentum Telecom, Inc. In this role, they oversaw IT and software development operations.

Auri's most recent position is with Proximie, where they served as the Chief Architect from 2017 to 2019, and later as the VP of Infrastructure and Media from 2019 onwards.

Auri Vizgaitis earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Information Technology from Cape Cod Community College from 1994 to 1996. Following this, Auri pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from Babson College from 1996 to 1998.
