Maria Pilar Hellard

Maria Pilar Hellard has extensive experience in educational and talent acquisition roles, currently serving in various capacities at Proximity Learning, Inc. since August 2017, including Vice Principal and Talent Acquisition Specialist, focusing on candidate identification and hiring processes. Previously, Maria held positions at NC School of Science and Math from October 2008 to June 2017, including World Languages Department Head and Curriculum Developer, while also serving as an Academic Advisor to residential students. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Lynchburg, a Certificate of Advanced Spanish Grammar from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and graduate-level education in Linguistics and Spanish from New Mexico State University.
