Alex Somi

Alex Somi is an experienced professional in AI and digital management, currently serving as the AI Delivery Lead at Proximus Group since September 2021, overseeing the delivery of AI projects within the Digital Transformation & IT unit. Previously, Alex held the role of AI Consultant, acting as an AI Translator to define business challenges and guide technical teams in developing analytics-driven solutions. Alex's career at Proximus began in the Graduate Program with roles as a Junior Product Manager in Global IoT and as a Technology Analyst. Prior to Proximus, Alex gained experience as a Digital Brand Manager for the BeNeLux region at L'Oréal and as a Digital Data Analyst Intern at Proximus. Educationally, Alex holds a Postgraduate Degree in Big Data & Analytics from KU Leuven, complemented by a Master's Degree in International Business Economics and Management and multiple degrees in Engineering from various prestigious institutions.
