Kris van der Smissen

Kris Van der Smissen has extensive experience in the IT and telecommunications fields, beginning as a System Administrator at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from June 1989 to September 1996. Following this, Kris held various positions, including ICT Engineer and IT Engineer at EUnet from September 1996 to March 2000, and later served as a Senior IT Engineer at Ubizen until January 2001. Since September 2001, Kris has been with Proximus, progressing through roles as a Senior System Engineer, Senior System & Network Engineer, and currently as an ICT Service Delivery Consultant specializing in Business Integration and ICT Outsourcing, focusing on deploying internal VOIP across the Belgacom group. Academic achievements include a degree in Microcomputers & Teletechnieken from Technicum and an A2 degree in Electronics specialization in Telecommunication from VTSL Leuven.
