Technical Co-Founder at Proxisense

Jonathan Sullivan has a wealth of experience in the engineering and technical fields. Jonathan began their career in 2005 as the Engineering Manager at Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging Limited. In 2006, they moved to De La Rue as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for managing the factory relocation for cash machine systems. In 2009, they joined QinetiQ as a Lead Project Manager and Technical Lead, managing the tasking, reporting and financial performance of several projects. In 2013, they became the Director at ROTASCAN LTD, where they worked on leading edge developments for gas turbines, transmission diagnostics and many complex machine Health Monitoring technologies. In 2016, they took on the role of Technical Director at draperVENT, and in 2021, they were appointed Group Technical Director at draperGROUP. During their time at draperGROUP, they have been involved in introducing new products and services. Jonathan also co-founded Proxisense in 2016, which specializes in advanced sensors, diagnostics and optimisation systems.

Jonathan Sullivan obtained a BSc Mech Eng from King's College London between 1984 and 1987, followed by a Masters Degree (MSc) in Electronics & Systems Engineering from the University of Wales between 1992 and 1993. In 1987, they obtained a BSc (Hons) Mechanical Engineering from the University of London. In 1991, they obtained a General Certificate in French from The Institute of Linguists - Examinations in Languages for International Communication. In 1994, they obtained a Master Science Degree (MSc) Electronics & Systems from the University of Wales. In 2000, they obtained a Bricklaying & Concrete certification from Farnborough College of Technology. In 2008, they obtained a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification from APMG International. In 2011, they obtained a Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification from the Engineering Council.
