Mohammad Faruk

Mohammad Faruk is an experienced language professional with a strong background in interpretation and translation. Currently serving as a Rohingya Interpreter at Voyce since July 2023, Mohammad also works as a Freelance Medical Interpreter for ProZ.com and engages in volunteer translation and interpretation for Tarjimly. Previous roles include Over the Phone Interpreter at Hands Up Communications and Transcriptionist at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Mohammad's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at BRAC, where responsibilities spanned translation, interpretation, and community mobilization, alongside curriculum translation. Prior to these roles, Mohammad was a teacher for the Ministry of Education in Myanmar. Holding a Bachelor's of Science in Physics from Sittway University, obtained in December 2015, Mohammad combines educational expertise with extensive language skills.
