Laura Kirwan

Laura Kirwan has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Head of Commercial Development & Sales at PRS for Music, which they have held since September 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Commercial Development at the same company from October 2021 to September 2023. Before joining PRS for Music, Laura worked at Universal Music Group as the Head of Sales - Supermarkets from September 2017 to October 2021. Laura also had various roles at Tesco PLC, including Buying Manager for DVD and Music from September 2016 to September 2017, Buying Manager for Newspapers and Magazines from June 2015 to September 2016, and Buyer for Books (secondment) from April 2015 to June 2015. Laura started their career at Tesco as a Buyer for Music from March 2013 to April 2015. Before Tesco, Laura was a Trainee Manager at Mtec Freight Group from April 2011 to March 2013. Laura also worked as an Assistant Buying Manager for Diet, Smoking, and Sports Nutrition at Boots UK from September 2010 to April 2011, and as an Assistant Buyer for Music at Tesco from July 2008 to September 2010.

Laura Kirwan attended Presdales School from 1998 to 2005, where they completed their A levels in Business studies, History, and English Literature. Laura then went on to study Business Management at the University of York from 2005 to 2008, and earned a 2:1 degree.
