Rupinder Virdee has a diverse and extensive background in various roles within the PR, marketing, and digital fields. Starting in 2003, they co-launched a publicity agency and served as a Publicist, specializing in Black music and delivering media across various platforms. Rupinder later became the Co-Founder of the Sikh Press Association, a national news agency representing the Sikh community and providing multimedia content to mainstream media globally. In 2017, they invested in and relaunched a large venue as the Owner, implementing a rebranding strategy and introducing A-list artists for live music events. Rupinder also held the position of Head of Communications for the Darbar Arts Culture & Heritage Trust, where they helped transition the brand into a strong digital presence. Additionally, they served as Chief Marketing Officer for Binti International, developing a campaign that led to the provision of free period products in Surrey County Council. Currently, Rupinder holds the role of Head of PR, Marketing, and Digital for PRS for Music, starting in 2022.
Rupinder Virdee obtained a BA Hons degree in Music Industry Management & Marketing from Buckinghamshire New University, completing the program between 2000 and 2003.
