Dan Samarov is an accomplished data science executive with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Data Science at Health Catalyst since August 2021, Dan leads the Technology Innovations Group (TIGr) focusing on rapid AI capability development. As Founder and Principal Consultant of Daniel V Samarov Inc since November 2014, Dan has delivered impactful data products for over 20 clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Previous roles include Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Twistle, where Dan spearheaded the development of an advanced patient engagement optimization platform, and Mathematical Statistician at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where innovative statistical methodologies were developed and shared. Dan co-founded RxAnalytics, Inc., specializing in health and fitness applications, and has a solid educational foundation with a PhD in Statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
