Bornwell Mwenya

Bornwell Mwenya has extensive experience in the IT field, with their most recent position being Head of IT & Change at Prudential Life Assurance Zambia. In this role, they were responsible for implementing technology-driven change projects and providing project management expertise. Prior to that, they served as the IT Director for Millennium Challenge Account Zambia, where they led the formulation and implementation of ICT strategies. Bornwell has also held positions such as IT Senior Manager at Airtel, Business Technology Solutions Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Systems and Network Administrator at Zambian Breweries Group. Bornwell began their career as an IT & Systems Manager at Industrial Credit Company Limited and worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Zamnet Communication Systems Limited.

Bornwell Mwenya pursued their education in a well-structured chronological manner. In 1991, they enrolled at Lubuto Secondary School, where they completed their School Certificate in 1995. Afterward, from 1997 to 2000, they attended The Copperbelt University. There, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree in Computer Science. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, Bornwell pursued further education at Unicaf University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems (MIS).
