Thelma Retana Guardado

Thelma Retana Guardado is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as the Regional Human Resources Manager at Prumisa CA since June 2019, Thelma oversees all HR processes across Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras, achieving significant reductions in regional recruitment costs. Prior to this role, Thelma was the Head of Human Resources at Prival Bank, S.A., managing comprehensive HR functions, including recruitment, organizational climate, and compliance with labor legislation from August 2009 to March 2019. Thelma also held positions as a Credit Officer at Financiera Comeca, a Psychologist at a private practice, and an Assistant Manager at Gerba S.A. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Administration from Universidad Metropolitana Castro Carazo, a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Universidad Independiente de Costa Rica.
