Juan Jose Astacio

Juan Jose Astacio has over three decades of experience in sales and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Sales Engineer at Prysmian Group since October 2012, focusing on Special Projects and Key Accounts within the electrical energy sector. Prior to this role, Astacio held the position of Sales Manager and Marketing at Soluciones y Herramientas S.A., responsible for budget formulation and sales strategy. Earlier experience includes working as an Acquisitions Consultant for RHESSA, involved in a World Bank-sponsored project to rebuild hospitals, and a lengthy tenure at 3M, where various roles included Sales Manager and Sales Supervisor across multiple divisions. Astacio holds an MBA from Universidad Francisco Marroquín and an Electrical Engineering degree from Universidad Politecnica de El Salvador.
