Sanjana Sood

Sanjana Sood has a strong background in data science and bioinformatics. Sanjana is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at PS AI Labs since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Close Brothers as a Senior Data Scientist from August 2020 to June 2022 and as a Data Scientist from March 2018 to August 2020. Before joining Close Brothers, they served as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust from June 2016 to March 2018. Their earlier experience includes working as a Bioinformatician at XRGENOMICS LIMITED from April 2014 to May 2016.

Sanjana Sood has an extensive education history. Sanjana pursued a Bachelor's of Science (Hons) degree in Physics from Delhi University from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they obtained a Master's of Research degree in Computational Biology from the University of York, completing their studies in 2011. Subsequently, Sanjana enrolled in Loughborough University, where they earned a Research Doctorate degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology in 2017.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sanjana has also acquired several certifications. In September 2022, they obtained a certification in Data Science Ethics from Coursera. Similarly, in July 2022, they completed courses and earned certifications in "Analyze Datasets and Train ML Models using AutoML" and "Introduction to Machine Learning in Production," both from Coursera.
