Thu-Suong Nguyen

Thu-Suong Nguyen joined PS Lightwave in 2014 as Operations Supervisor and Senior Cost Analyst and transitioned to the role of Controller. Ms. Nguyen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting from University of Houston-Downtown in 2012. Prior to joining the PS Lightwave team, Ms. Nguyen worked in the telecommunications field since 2008 as Operations Clerk and Operations Supervisor at Phonoscope Enterprises Group, where she was responsible for managing the team responsible for coordinating external operations work orders.

With over a decade of experience in telecommunications operations, Ms. Nguyen has managed the PS Lightwave Internal Operations team through the implementation of a major carrier backhaul project and through the implementation of a school district dark fiber WAN project. As the Senior Cost Analyst, Ms. Nguyen was responsible for developing cost-effective options for delivery of telecommunications services to PS Lightwave’s public sector, enterprise and commercial customers. In 2017, she was on the frontlines of development, training and implementation for the PS Lightwave proprietary software, LITE.

In her current role as Controller, Ms. Nguyen is responsible for developing the annual operations budget, tracking and analyzing company trends and overseeing the development of PS Lightwave’s forecast and allocation models. She also coordinates all collaboration with PS Lightwave’s financial partners.

Ms. Nguyen is an avid supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, offering financial support and participating in the St. Jude’s Annual Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer.
