Hubert Shang

Hubert Shang is a Senior Data Scientist at PSB since February 2018, where responsibilities include developing a cross-tabulation tool for analyzing CBAMS survey data and employing unsupervised learning for national tract-level segmentation to inform 2020 Census media planning. Previous roles include Lead Data Scientist at Parabellum Labs, managing an analytics team and utilizing advanced dimensionality-reduction techniques for model production, and Data Scientist, focusing on voter turnout predictions and data cleansing. Early experience includes internships as a Mathematical Statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau, programming regression estimations and processing public employment data using SAS. Hubert Shang holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
