Swannie Swanepoel

Swannie Swanepoel is an accomplished Principal Engineer at PSD Energy since January 2019, leading a team in the engineering and design of large-scale and commercial & industrial photovoltaic (PV) systems while collaborating with local and global teams, customers, and partners. Prior experience includes a role as Project Engineer at Lendlease from September 2018 to January 2019, focusing on design and construction support for project completion. Swannie also held the position of Project Design Engineer from October 2012 to July 2018 at Consolidated Power Projects, managing the engineering design of large-scale and rooftop solar PV systems. Earlier career roles include Commissioning Engineer and Technician at Westingcorp Power Industries, as well as Technician positions at Columbus Stainless and Evraz Highveld Steel and Vanadium, where responsibilities encompassed electrical and instrumentation systems and fault-finding. Swannie holds a Project Management certificate from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma in Power Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology.
