PSE Healthy Energy
Christos Efstathiou is a Senior Scientist at PSE Healthy Energy since June 2023, with a strong background in environmental science and exposure science. Prior to this role, Christos served as a Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from January 2021 to June 2023, and as a Research Scientist at CSRA Inc from June 2016 to January 2021. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Masaryk University - RECETOX from May 2011 to January 2016, and a postdoctoral research associate role at EOHSI - UMDNJ from February 2009 to September 2010. Christos also contributed as a lecturer in the Modern Greek Studies Program at Rutgers University from August 2002 to August 2003. Academic credentials include a PhD in Exposure Science from Rutgers University and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of the Aegean. Expertise includes the modeling of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and emissions of pollen and co-allergens.
