Kelsey Bilsback is a Senior Scientist at PSE Healthy Energy since August 2021, focusing on modeling tools to assess the air quality, health, and equity impacts of energy policies. Kelsey's notable research includes analyzing methane leak impacts from the oil and gas sector and evaluating the health implications of energy production portfolios. Prior to this role, Kelsey was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Colorado State University from August 2013 to August 2021, where work involved using the GEOS-Chem-TOMAS model to study air-pollution-control policies and their effects. During the Graduate Research Assistant tenure, Kelsey conducted field emissions testing in international locations to characterize the properties of smoke from solid-fuel cookstoves. Kelsey holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a BA in Physics from Boston University.
